Trace Software - EUTRON SmartKey® Driver by Trace Software
The Trace Software - EUTRON SmartKey Driver is the official device driver required for Trace Software applications that use an EUTRON SmartKey hardware dongle for license protection. It enables the operating system to detect, authenticate, and communicate with the SmartKey, ensuring licensed features are available and stable.
This package installs the necessary system components and services to support SmartKey operation and runs silently in the background with minimal resource usage. Installing or updating the driver helps resolve common issues such as “SmartKey not found” or intermittent dongle recognition.

If your "TraceParts" software uses an other protection system than "SmartKey" key (like HASP Key, Licence file or NLM server), you could uninstall the "smartkey" drivers without any problem.
Please use "Add-Remove programm" in your "Config Panel" to uninstall the "SmartKey" driver.
